Roberts Excavation repairs farm and heavy equipment for owners throughout Eastern Connecticut — based in Plainfield and covering roughly a 30-mile radius through Windham and New London counties. Running our own excavation fleet since 2010 means we fixed plenty of cracked buckets, worn teeth, bent stick arms, and frame cracks on our own machines before ever touching anyone else's.

Common repairs include bucket and arm damage on excavators, skid steers, tractors, and loaders; frame and hydraulic mount cracks; trailer work on flatbeds, dumps, and livestock trailers; and implement fixes on bush hogs, plows, blades, and hitches. We keep AR-grade abrasion-resistant plate in stock for wear-surface repairs — the hardened steel that extends the life of buckets and cutting edges instead of just patching them.

We weld mild and structural steel, stainless, aluminum, and cast iron, and choose MIG, TIG, stick, or flux core to suit the metal and the crack. If the machine can move, you can bring it to us; if it cannot, the mobile rig comes to you — and for a breakdown that is stopping work, we offer 24-hour emergency response.
